Overview
Yae's skill places up to three Sesshou Sakura totems that automatically strike nearby enemies with Electro. Her burst detonates totems for massive AoE Electro damage. She wants minimal field time-place totems, cast burst, swap off. Build CRIT and ATK% for totem and burst damage.
How to Play
Place three Sesshou Sakura with skill (tap three times or hold for auto-placement), cast burst to detonate totems, then swap to your Main DPS. Refresh totems every 14 seconds. Yae does not need normal attacks-her kit is entirely skill and burst. Pair with Raiden for energy and burst DMG buff.
Optimal Rotation
Yae Skill ×3 → Yae Burst → Bennett Burst → Kazuha Swirl → Raiden Burst → Raiden on-field → refresh Yae totems when skill CD returns → repeat. In Aggravate: Nahida Skill → Yae Skill ×3 → Yae Burst → Fischl Skill → DPS window.
F2P Options
The Widsith or Solar Pearl work as F2P catalysts. Gilded Dreams 4pc with EM sands for Aggravate. C0 Yae with Raiden and Bennett is one of the strongest F2P-friendly teams-totem damage scales well without constellations.
Common Mistakes
Placing totems too far from enemies-they only strike nearby targets. Staying on-field with Yae-she's off-field Sub-DPS. Forgetting to cast burst before totems expire-burst detonation is her biggest damage spike. Building pure EM without CRIT in non-reaction teams.
