How to Play Venti

Last updated:

Overview

Venti's burst creates a vortex that pulls and lifts enemies, absorbing the first element applied. His ascension refunds energy to party members. VV 4pc shreds RES of Swirled elements. He struggles against heavy bosses but dominates mob content.

How to Play

Apply an element to enemies, then cast burst for absorption and grouping. Use skill for additional Anemo damage and VV shred. Position burst to catch maximum enemies. Venti generates massive energy, build ER for consistent burst uptime.

Optimal Rotation

Apply element (Mona/Xiangling/etc.), Venti Burst, Venti Skill, swap to DPS. Enemies stay grouped in vortex for AoE damage. In Morgana: Diona Shield, Mona Skill/Burst, Venti Burst, Ayaka burst and attacks.

F2P Options

Favonius Warbow or Stringless work well. VV set is essential for RES shred. C0 Venti is less meta-critical than Kazuha for bosses but still excellent for overworld exploration and Spiral Abyss mob floors.

Common Mistakes

Using Venti against large unliftable bosses wastes his main strength. Bursting without element absorption reduces damage. Building pure EM without ER causes burst downtime. Replacing Kazuha with Venti in freeze teams against bosses, Kazuha is generally better.
