New Playable Characters
Three new playable units launch with Snezhnaya. Build guides for Odette and Alyosha are live on GenshinPatch.
- Odette (5★ Cryo Sword) — Stellar Swirl / Stellar-Conduct Sub-DPS and team buffer. Phase 1 banner (ended September 1).
- Alyosha (4★ Electro Polearm) — Stellar-Conduct support with healing, taunt, and ATK buff. Free from Archon Quest.
- Cryo Traveler — Unlocks through Snezhnaya story; enables all Stellar Glimmer reactions.
- Phase 2 reruns (September 1–22): Flins (The Lone Light Knocks at Night) and Ineffa (Astral Actuation), with Aino, Iansan, and Lan Yan.
- Version 7.1 (September 23): Vesna (5★ Anemo sword, Stellar-Swirl DPS) and Vodyanitsa (5★ Hydro catalyst, Hydro/Cryo support) debut together; Skirk and Escoffier rerun in Phase 2.
- Sandrone (6.7) — Stellar-Conduct Main DPS; pairs directly with Odette and Alyosha.
- Tsaritsa (Anastasya) — Confirmed playable eventually, not expected in 7.0 (likely 7.2–7.3).
Snezhnaya Region
Snezhnaya is the Cryo nation ruled by the Tsaritsa. The opening map features snow-covered cities, a train network, ports, and Fatui strongholds including Snezhnograd.
- Collect Cryoculi (Snezhnaya Oculi) for Statue of The Seven rewards
- Explore by train — new traversal system across the region
- Farm Inverted Glacier (Everfrozen Earth) for Scarlet Proof and Heart of the Furnace

Stellar Reactions (New Combat System)
Version 7.0 expands the Stellar reaction system introduced in 6.7 with Sandrone. Stellar Glimmer is the umbrella term for all Stellar reactions.
- Stellar-Conduct — upgraded Superconduct; core of Sandrone, Odette, and Alyosha teams
- Stellar-Swirl — upgraded Cryo Swirl; triggers Stellar Vortexes that scale with repeated Swirls
- Stellar Vortex — explodes after a short delay; multiple Stellar-Swirls level it up and boost explosion DMG
- New artifact sets: Heart of the Furnace (Stellar Glimmer buffer) and Scarlet Proof (Stellar-Swirl DPS)
- Disenchantment in Deep Shadow (6.7) remains BiS for Sandrone Stellar-Conduct DPS
7.1 Prep Checklist
Phase 2 ends in 5 days. Save Primogems for Vesna or Vodyanitsa, and plan the anniversary 5-star selectors.
